Setup Gmail Forwarding
In order to automatically forward your lead emails to Aiva from your Gmail account, you need to first add and verify your @aivamail.com email address as an approved forwarding email address to Gmail.
First, let's copy your unique account @aivamail.com address. You can find this by navigating to your Aiva dashboard under the
Settings tab and copying the email address that ends with @aivamail.com (you can also click on this link to head over to the
settings page):

Next, in a new tab, head over to your Gmail account. On the top right corner, click on the icon shaped like a gear, and then click on Settings:
Then, select the
Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab on the top and then click on the
Add a forwarding address button:

A dialog should pop up, now enter your unique Aiva email address in the box that pops up and click
Next then click on the
Proceed to confirm:

At this point, Gmail might ask you for a confirmation code to verify your @aivamail.com email address. Please note that you may NOT be required to verify your new email address -- if Gmail does not prompt you for an code, you're all done at this point!

If you do need a confirmation code, in a few minutes, you'll receive a forwarded email from us with the confirmation code you need for Gmail. Note that this can take up to 1 hour in some cases, if you're having trouble with this step please contact our support team via email:

The confirmation code should be in the email that you just received, go ahead and copy it:

Next, on the top right corner, click on the icon shaped like a gear again, and then click on
Settings, then select the
Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab on the top and now paste your confirmation code in the box next to the label that says
Verify your-email-here@aivamail.com and click
Verify.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure that you are NOT forwarding all your emails to your @aivamail.com address, you can check if you are by scrolling up and ensuring that Disable forwarding is selected.
